This is Gods promise to mankind to make all things new at the second coming. But it is also His promise to make all things new every day of our lives. We enjoy this new life in baptism, confession, communion, and all the church sacraments.
This album is a personal reflection of the artists’ younger years, a sort of “A letter to 12-year-old self”, its times of struggle and joy and how God promises to make all things new in your life if we let Him. Some of the songs express experiences of personal issues of self-image and self-worth, family issues, making friends and how they transformed them into a new person.
This album is the result of the Asaph Tunes yearly Christian Music Competition 2019. Every year Asaph Tunes challenges the musically artistic talents of the Coptic community to come up with new songs and tunes about a new topic. As a result, tens of new artists surface every year with amazing talents. Today we have over 130 artists from around the world.
